London Leadership Academy 2016-17 Annual Report
We are pleased to launch our Annual Report for the 2016-17 financial year. This report highlights the work we are doing in developing leaders across the system. In this document, we reflect on our key successes look forward to what the future holds for the LLA.
London Leadership Academy continues to be passionate about the work that we do as we know it makes a real difference to leaders who are on the frontline delivering outstanding care in extremely pressured environments. As a pan-London NHS leadership development organisation, we have access to a wealth of health care leaders and leadership experience. This creates plenty of opportunities to bring the London leadership community together to learn new skills, create connections, build networks and deliver the best possible care to patients and service users. We are by the NHS, for the NHS, and act as an honest broker for partner organisations to commission at scale with our trusted Faculty or experienced OD Associates. Over the past year, we have delivered over 100 leadership programmes to over 1700 staff working across London. These programmes have focused on developing systems leadership, inclusion, talent management and organisation development. We have also continued to deliver the Core Programmes with the NHS Leadership Academy and support the Graduate Management Training Scheme for London. In partnership with Health Education England, we oversaw the delivery of an eighth cohort of the Darzi Fellowships in Clinical Leadership and have matched over 300 coaching and mentoring relationships across the capital.
