By increasing not only the knowledge base, but the skills of middle and senior managers and clinicians in an alternative set of OD methods, this workshop will empower people to challenge the dominant paradigm and unlock the talent and potential of a broader range of staff.
This workshop will create a temporary learning community of staff who we be asked to commit to an AE set of interviews (x3) in their organisations. Delegates will report back their learning to the group and to the Capital People Team. They will also be encouraged to form a network and extend this different method of development, as one co-ordinated intervention into the system of the NHS in London.
The objectives of this event are to:
- Help you to understand more about Appreciative Enquiry (AE) and its usefulness in increasing diversity and inclusion, and in service change
- Allow you to learn some of the interview methods of AE
- Give you an opportunity to create an action plan to practise the skills of AE in the workplace
